Eligibility Criteria:
- A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in Economics from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or a similar test accredited by the UGC (SLET/SET) OR must hold a Ph.D. degree.
Desirable Qualification:
- Specialization in labor economics, industry and employment, labor market of North East, urban labor market, informal economy, research methodology (quantitative), and related fields.
- Capacity to supervise Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral students.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals will be an additional advantage.
- Ability to teach across programs, particularly in the Centre for Undergraduate Studies.
