Recruitment Notice: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Position at NIT Silchar Assam
National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar Assam is inviting applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the DST-sponsored project titled “Sustainable Energy System for Achieving Novel Carbon Neutral Energy Communities (SUSTENANCE)” in the Department of Electrical Engineering.

Essential Qualification:
- B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech./M.E. in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognized University.
- Should have GATE/CSIR-UGC NET qualification or qualified through a national-level examination according to DST guidelines.
Desirable Qualification/Experience:
- Candidates with an M.Tech degree and hands-on experience in developing and working on hardware/laboratory prototypes, especially on Power Electronic Converters, will be given preference.
- Throughout first-class academic career is preferred.
Emoluments: Rs. 31,000 + 8% HRA per month
