About Tinsukia College: Established in 1956, Tinsukia College in Assam has been a beacon of education in the region. The college is now seeking applications from eligible candidates for the position of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) for an ICMR-sponsored project aimed at studying the community behavior, control, and prevention of dengue and Japanese B-encephalitis in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

Project Title: Determination of the Key Factors in the Community Behavior, Control, and Prevention of Dengue and Japanese B-Encephalitis in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh
Place of Work: Assam (Dibrugarh, Karbi Anglong, and Tinsukia) and Arunachal Pradesh (Pasighat)
Essential Qualification:
- First-class Post Graduate Degree from a recognized university with 2 years of experience in the relevant field, OR
- Second-class Post Graduate Degree with a Ph.D. in the relevant subject from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Ph.D. with proficiency in quantitative and qualitative field experience and knowledge of statistical data analysis.
Monthly Consolidated Emoluments: Rs. 56,100/- per month (consolidated) + 9% HR
Upper Age Limit for Fresh Recruits: 35 years
