Educational Qualification
- Postgraduate/Graduate in any discipline with mathematics as a subject till Class XII.
- Preference for candidates from management, commerce, or engineering backgrounds.
Work Experience
- 3-4 years of experience in:
- Operations in profit enterprises.
- Implementing non-farm livelihood interventions.
Additional Preferences
Candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference:
- Experience in managing large-scale programs related to non-farm livelihood promotion for rural communities.
- Expertise in enterprise promotion, business advisory services, and establishing forward and backward linkages.
- Strong program management skills and experience in conducting training sessions.
- Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and data analysis skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet tools.
- Prior experience with the Start-Up Village Entrepreneurship Program (SVEP) is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Hindi is mandatory.
Job Responsibilities
The selected Mentor will:
- Ensure the rollout of the SVEP program in designated blocks, including baseline and market studies.
- Act as a liaison between block staff, community organizations, and village-level project teams.
- Train and guide CRP-EPs (Community Resource Persons for Enterprise Promotion) and BRC (Block Resource Centre) members.
- Implement and monitor the SVEP program using designated software and MIS tools.
- Ensure the procurement of required equipment for BRCs and institutionalize their processes.
- Provide business advisory services and create localized benchmarks for enterprises.
