Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualifications:
- A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale) from a recognized university.
- A Ph.D. Degree in a relevant field.
- Experience:
- At least 15 years of service as a Professor/Associate Professor in Teaching/Research/Administration in Universities, Colleges, or other higher education institutions.
- A minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- A minimum research score of 110 as per Appendix-II, Table 2 of the UGC Guidelines, 2018.
- Relaxation:
- For SC/ST/Differently Abled Candidates: A relaxation of 5% in marks at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels.
- For Pre-1991 Ph.D. Holders: A relaxation of 5% in marks (from 55% to 50%) at the Master’s level.
- Additional Requirements:
- Must meet all qualifications and requirements as per DHE, Assam, and UGC Guidelines.

- Complete Bio-Data.
- Self-attested copies of all testimonials (from HSLC onwards).
