Assam Career 2025 : The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Assam, is seeking applications from eligible candidates for the post of Advisor on a deputation basis. The position is initially for a period up to 31st March 2028 or until superannuation, whichever is earlier. TRAI, established under the TRAI Act, 1997, is responsible for regulating telecommunications services, protecting the interests of service providers and consumers, and promoting the growth of the telecom sector. It also oversees the regulation of Broadcasting and Cable Services since 2004.

Eligibility Criteria
Eligible candidates must be officers from the Central Government, Public Sector Undertakings, or Statutory and Autonomous Bodies and meet one of the following conditions:
- Holding equivalent post in Level-14 on a regular basis.
- Having four years of regular service in Pay Level-13.
- Having seventeen years of regular service in Group ‘A’ and having held a post of Pay Level-13 for a minimum period of four years.
Additionally, candidates should have:
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, Engineering, Law, Science, or Humanities from a recognized university/institution.
- Or Membership in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India / Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.
- Relevant experience in the required field.
