Position 1: Director of Economics & Statistics
- Department: Transformation and Development Department, Government of Assam
- Number of Vacancies: 1
- Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 16900/- per month
- Qualifications:
- A 2nd Class Master’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics from a Recognized University or its equivalent, OR
- A Degree from a Recognized University with Mathematics, Statistics, Economics as a subject, along with a Diploma Recognized by the Government obtained after at least 2 years of Post Graduate Training in Statistics.
- Experience: Not less than 10 years of experience in Statistical Works/Investigation/Research in a Government Department or Commercial concern of repute, or in conducting and guiding Research in Statistics in a University or Institute of Training & Research, as evidenced by published work. Also, administrative experience for not less than 5 years in a responsible capacity.
- Age: Candidates should be between 35 to 45 years of age as of 01/01/2023.

- Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 13300/- per month
- Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Planning from a recognized University/Institution (affiliated to UGC/AICTE/ITPI) with specialization in fields like Urban Planning, Regional Planning, Town Planning, Transportation Planning, etc.
- Age: Candidates should be between 21 to 38 years of age as of 01/01/2023.
