Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a Post Graduate Degree in Planning from a recognized university or institution (affiliated to UGC/AICTE/ITPI). The specialization can be in one of the following areas:
- Urban Planning
- Regional Planning
- Urban and Regional Planning
- Town Planning
- City Planning
- Town and Country Planning
- Town and Regional Planning
- Transportation Planning
- Housing
- Infrastructure Planning
- Environmental Planning
Age Criteria
As of 01-01-2024, candidates should fulfill the following age requirements:
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 38 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years (up to 43 years)
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years (up to 41 years)
- Ex-Servicemen: Maximum age 50 years (relaxable by 3 years for OBC/MOBC and 5 years for SC/ST)
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): 10 years irrespective of category
