The College of Veterinary Science, Assam, is pleased to announce the recruitment of qualified candidates for the position of Project Technical Support as part of the project entitled “Building a Surveillance Model at Selected Slaughterhouses.” We invite applications for the following positions:

1. Project Technical Support-III

• No. of Posts: 1
• Qualification:
  • Graduate in Life Sciences / Veterinary Sciences with 3 years of experience, or
  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences / Veterinary Science.
• Desirable: Experience in a Molecular / Microbial Laboratory.
• Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 28,000/- + HRA as admissible.
• Age Limit: 35 years.

2. Project Technical Support-II

• No. of Posts: 1
• Qualification:
  • 12th (HS in Science) + Diploma (MLT / DMLT) + five years of experience in the relevant field.
• Desirable: Experience in a Molecular / Microbial Laboratory or in biological sample/data collection.
• Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 20,000/- + HRA as admissible.
• Age Limit: 30 years.

3. Project Technical Support-I

• No. of Posts: 1
• Qualification:
  • 10th + Diploma (MLT / DMLT / ITI) + two years of experience in the relevant field.
• Desirable: Experience in a Molecular / Microbial Laboratory or in biological sample/data collection.
• Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 18,000/- + HRA as admissible.
• Age Limit: 28 years.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates are invited to attend a walk-in interview on 26th September 2024 at 11 AM in the Office of the Principal Investigator, Department of Veterinary Microbiology, College of Veterinary Science, AAU, Khanapara, Guwahati-781022.

Candidates must submit an application form (Annexure-I), one set of self-attested testimonials, and a DEMAND DRAFT of Rs. 50.00 (Rs. 25.00 for SC/ST candidates), drawn in favor of The Director of Research (Veterinary), AAU, Khanapara, payable at SBI, Khanapara, at the time of the interview.
