The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, Assam, is seeking qualified candidates for temporary teaching positions. We are currently inviting applications for the roles of Swimming Instructor (female only) and Water Polo Instructor. The engagement for these positions will be initially for a period of 10 (ten) months, with the possibility of renewal or re-advertisement based on the Institute’s requirements and feedback. Please note that this is a temporary appointment and does not imply any claim for regular employment with the Institute.

Available Positions:

1. Swimming Instructor (female only)
   • Number of Positions: 1
   • Duty Hours: 05:30 PM to 08:30 PM, six days a week
   • Salary: Rs. 1000/- per day
2. Water Polo Instructor
   • Number of Positions: 1
   • Duty Hours: 05:30 PM to 08:30 PM, six days a week
   • Salary: Rs. 1000/- per day

Minimum Academic Qualification:

• Passed 10+2 examination.

Professional Qualifications:

• Certificate in Sport Coaching in the respective sports discipline or equivalent.
• National Participation or Zonal Participation will be advantageous.

Experience:

• Preference will be given to candidates with prior coaching experience in Swimming or Water Polo.

Age Limit:

• Candidates should be below 50 years of age.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be assessed through a practical test and an interview. Please adhere to the following schedule:

• Date of Practical Test: 23.08.2024
  • Reporting Time: 08:00 AM
  • Venue: Old SAC building, IIT Guwahati
• Date of Interview: 23.08.2024
  • Reporting Time: 04:00 PM
  • Venue: Interview Room, Administrative building, IIT Guwahati

• ক্ৰীড়া প্ৰশিক্ষণৰ ক্ষেত্ৰত প্ৰমাণপত্ৰ বা সমান মানৰ অৰ্হতা।
• ৰাষ্ট্ৰীয় অংশগ্ৰহণ অথবা আঞ্চলিক অংশগ্ৰহণ থাকিলে সুবিধা লাভ কৰিব।

অভিজ্ঞতা:

• সুইমিং বা ৱাটাৰ প’লোত পূৰ্বৰ প্ৰশিক্ষণ অভিজ্ঞতা থকা প্ৰাৰ্থীক প্ৰাধান্য দিয়া হ’ব।

বয়সৰ সীমা:

• প্ৰাৰ্থীৰ বয়স ৫০ বছৰৰ তলত হ’ব লাগিব।
