Essential Skills & Capabilities:
- Project Implementation: Oversee the implementation of livelihood projects, particularly weaving initiatives in select districts of Assam.
- Planning & Strategy: Develop and implement project plans and strategies to promote Saneki Weaves, in consultation with the Supervisor.
- Budget Management: Oversee project budget utilization and ensure timely documentation of project activities.
- Field Work & Reporting: Conduct field visits, collect data, and prepare detailed analytical reports.
- Resource Identification: Identify weavers for livelihood projects and provide resources to strengthen their capabilities.
- Team Leadership: Lead and guide the team in the development of quarterly production plans, monitoring team functioning and progress.
- Training & Outreach: Facilitate training sessions, campaigns, and exposure trips for weavers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Representation: Represent the organization in various local and national forums such as workshops, campaigns, exhibitions, and meetings.
- Volunteer Engagement: Support activities related to Nenterprise, a sister concern of NEN.
