Assam Career : THDC India Limited is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts of Engineers and Executives in various disciplines in 2025. THDC India Limited is a leading power sector enterprise and a profit-making Public Sector Enterprise (PSU). Initially registered as a Public Limited Company in July 1988 under the Companies Act, 1956, THDCIL received the ‘Mini Ratna’ Category-I Status in October 2009 and was upgraded to Schedule ‘A’ PSU in July 2010 by the Government of India.
Following a strategic sale in March 2020, equity in THDC India Limited is now shared between NTPC Limited (74.496%) and the Government of Uttar Pradesh (25.504%). The company has an authorized share capital of Rs. 4000 crore and a paid-up capital of Rs. 3665.88 crore as of September 2024. As of March 31, 2024, its net worth stands at Rs. 10,546.68 crore. Since the commencement of its maiden project, Tehri HPP (1000 MW), in 2006-07, THDCIL has consistently remained a profit-making enterprise.
