Position: JRF (Junior Research Fellow) with GATE qualification

Number of Vacancies: 1

Project Title: Design, fabrication, and calibration of a coaxial surface junction thermocouple for transient heat flux measurement in hypersonic shock tube/tunnel.

Qualifications:

• You should have a B.Tech and M.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• You should have experience in spot welding, material testing, and characterization (XRD, FESEM, FETEM).
• You should also have experience with simulations using commercial software such as COMSOL and 3D CAD.

Selection Procedure: A walk-in interview is scheduled for 16th November 2023, starting from 10 AM. The interview will take place in the Seminar Room of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Guwahati.
