1. Position: Security cum Estate Officer
- Number of Vacancies: 1
- Eligibility Criteria: Retired Police and Army Officers with a minimum rank of Dy Superintendent of Police or its equivalent. Candidates should be well-versed in security rules and capable of handling interactions with both the Police and the Public within the University.
- Desirable Experience:
- Conducting inquiries and investigations
- Managing contacts and handling emergency situations, such as fire-fighting, rescue operations, floods, earthquakes, etc.
- Experience in managing security aspects within large organizations
- Remuneration: Commensurate with experience
- Maximum Age: 65 years
2. Position: Guest Faculty in the Department of Geology (Economic Geology Specialization)
- Number of Vacancies: 1
- Essential Qualifications: Candidates should have a strong academic background with at least 55% marks at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
- Age Limit: There is no age restriction for Guest Faculty. Retired teachers with a good track record are encouraged to apply.
- Remuneration: Rs. 700 per class with an upper limit of Rs. 19,600
- Selection Procedure: A walk-in-interview will be conducted on 20th October 2023 at 10 AM in Cotton University, Conference Hall, MCB Building, Panbazar, Guwahati-1.
