Assam Rural Infrastructure & Agricultural Services (ARIAS) Society has announced recruitment for various positions on a purely temporary contractual basis. Here are the details for the different positions:

1. Millets Extension Executives (MEE):

• Number of Posts: 9
• Educational Qualification: Masters degree in Agriculture, with a preference for those having Agricultural Extension as Specialization at Masters level.
• Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in agricultural extension activities after completing the required educational qualification.
• Age: Not more than 40 years as of December 1, 2023.

2. Millets Marketing Executives (MEE):

• Number of Posts: 10
• Educational Qualification: Masters/PG Diploma (minimum two years duration) in Agribusiness, Agricultural Marketing, Agricultural Economics, or a closely related field.
• Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in agricultural marketing activities after completing the required educational qualification.
• Age: Not more than 40 years as of December 1, 2023.

3. District Enterprise Development Coordinator (DEDC):

• Number of Posts: 1
• Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA/PGDBM) with specialization in agribusiness/entrepreneurship/rural management/marketing/finance.
• Experience: Five years of demonstrated experience in promoting entrepreneurship, working in incubation programs for handholding of enterprises, or small business development programs.
• Age: Not more than 40 years as of December 1, 2023.

4. District Enterprise Development Executive (DEDE):

• Number of Posts: 3
• Educational Qualification: Any graduates, preferably B.Sc in Agriculture or allied sectors/B.E. or B.Tech in Agriculture/food technology/BBA with at least 3 years’ experience in agribusiness, food processing sector.
• Experience: Experience in entrepreneurship and enterprise development, counseling for enterprises, conducting training & capacity-building programs, and facilitating access to finance and business development.
• Age: Not more than 35 years as of December 1, 2023.

5. Management Information System (MIS) Executive:

• Number of Posts: 3
• Educational Qualification: B.Sc. in IT or Comp. Sc./B.Tech. in Computer Science/Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)/three years Diploma in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• Experience: At least 4 years of professional experience (for a three-year degree/diploma) or 3 years of experience (for a four-year degree/diploma) in the field of MIS in any public/private sector organization.
• Age: Not more than 35 years as of December 1, 2023.

Selection Procedure: Walk-in-interviews will be held from January 3, 2024, to January 9, 2024, at ARIAS Society, Agriculture Complex, Khanapara, G.S. Road, Guwahati-781022. Reporting time is from 9:30 AM to 11 AM.
