About Assam Public Service Commission (APSC): The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) is responsible for conducting recruitment examinations and selecting suitable candidates for various administrative positions in the state of Assam. Position: Plant Manager and Equivalent Posts (Chilling Plant Supervisor/ Milk Tester/ Asstt. Rural Dairy Extension Officer/ Asstt. Distribution Officer) under Dairy Development Department, Assam (Class-1, Class-B Junior Grade)

Number of Vacancies: 16

Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 12,700/- (Pay Band-4)

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have at least a Degree in Dairy Technology from a recognized University/Institution.

Age Limit:

• Minimum age: 21 years
• Maximum age: 38 years as of January 1, 2024
• Age relaxations:
  • SC/ST candidates: Up to 43 years
  • OBC/MOBC candidates: Up to 41 years
  • Persons with benchmark disability (PWBD): Up to 10 years irrespective of category
