About APSC Assam: Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) is a prestigious institution responsible for conducting various recruitment examinations and selecting candidates for government positions in Assam. Position: Tourism Development Officer (Grade-II) under the Directorate of Tourism, Government of Assam

Pay Scale: Rs. 22,000 to Rs. 97,000 + Grade Pay Rs. 9,400
Educational Qualification:
- Minimum qualification: Graduation from a recognized university in any stream with knowledge of computer of at least 6 months duration. OR Graduation in Hospitality, Hotel, Travel and Tourism Management or Administration from a recognized University with knowledge of Computer of at least 6 months duration.
- Preference will be given to candidates with: i. Knowledge of any Foreign Language other than English or language spoken in the Indian Subcontinent. ii. Working experience in travel and tourism or hotel management administration section.
Age Limit:
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Maximum age: 38 years as of 01/01/2024
- Age relaxation: i. SC/ST candidates: up to 43 years ii. OBC/MOBC candidates: up to 41 years iii. Persons with benchmark disability (PwBD): up to 10 years
