Recruitment Announcement: Teaching and Administrative Positions at MC College Barpeta Assam

Madhab Choudhury (MC) College Barpeta Assam invites applications from eligible candidates for various teaching and administrative positions.

1. Assistant Professor (Physics):

• No. of Posts: 1
• Eligibility: Master’s degree in Physics with minimum 55% marks. NET/SLET/SET qualification is mandatory. Ph.D. degree holders are exempt from NET/SLET/SET.

2. Assistant Professor (Assamese):

• No. of Posts: 1
• Eligibility: Master’s degree in Assamese with minimum 55% marks. NET/SLET/SET qualification is mandatory. Ph.D. degree holders are exempt from NET/SLET/SET.

3. Library Bearer:

• No. of Posts: 1
• Eligibility: Minimum educational qualification is Class VIII passed.

4. Laboratory Bearer:

• No. of Posts: 1
• Eligibility: Minimum educational qualification is Class VIII passed.

Qualification & Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational qualifications and selection procedures follow Assam Govt. Office Memorandum No. AHE.239/2021/68 dated Dispur, 24th January, 2022.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 55% marks at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject.
• Age limit is not more than 38 years as of 01.01.2024 with relaxations for reserved categories.

How to Apply:

• For Assistant Professor positions, candidates must submit applications in the prescribed format along with complete bio-data and testimonials, accompanied by a demand draft of Rs. 1500/-.
• For Library and Laboratory Bearer positions, candidates must submit applications in the prescribed format along with complete bio-data and testimonials, accompanied by a demand draft of Rs. 500/-.
