National Institute of Pathology (NIP) Assam is seeking applications for the position of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) on a purely temporary basis for an ICMR funded project. Here are the details:

Name of Post: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)

Number of Posts: 1

Essential Qualifications:

  • First-class Master’s degree in Nanobiotechnology/Nanoscience/Chemistry/Life Sciences (Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biophysics/Molecular Biology) from a recognized university.
  • Second-class post-graduate degree with Ph.D. in the above-mentioned subjects from a recognized University.
  • First-class engineering graduate degree of four years in Nanobiotechnology/Nanoscience/Biotechnology from a recognized University.

Desirable:

  • PhD degree in the above-mentioned subjects with experience in cell culture, noncoding RNAs, Epigenetics, Next Generation Sequencing in the field of cancer.

Emoluments: Rs. 56,000/- per month + HRA

Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and female candidates as per Govt. of India rules)
