Eligibility Criteria:
The eligibility criteria for this position are in accordance with the Government Office Memorandum No. AHE.239/2021/68 dated 24.01.2022, with NET/SLET/SET as mandatory eligibility conditions. Ph.D. degree holders following the UGC (minimum standard and procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree) regulation 2009 are exempt from NET/SLET/SET.
- Candidates must have 55% marks (or an equivalent grade point scale) at the master’s degree level in the concerned subject.
- A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided to SC/ST/PWD candidates.
- A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided to Ph.D. holders who obtained their Master’s Degree prior to 19th Sept 1991.
- Eligibility qualifications like M. Phil/Ph.D./Seminar Papers/Publications can be acquired and submitted on the date of the Interview and not beyond.
Age Limit:
Candidates should be below 38 years of age as of 01.01.2023, with relaxation as per Government guidelines.
