Essential Qualifications
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent Grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale.
- Professional qualification from:
- Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India (CWA), or
- Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ACA/AFA).
Essential Experience
- Option 1:
- 15 years as Assistant Professor in Commerce, Economics, or Management (with financial experience/expertise), including at least 8 years as Associate Professor.
- Administrative/Finance & Accounts experience in higher educational institutions.
- Option 2:
- Comparable experience in research establishments or other higher education institutions.
- Option 3:
- 15 years of administrative/management-level experience in Finance & Accounts, with 8 years as Deputy Registrar/Deputy Finance Officer or equivalent.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in budgeting and financial accounting in autonomous bodies or universities.
- Knowledge of rules and regulations related to Accounts, Audit, and service conditions in state universities.
Age Criteria
- Minimum: 40 years
- Maximum: 55 years
