Essential Qualifications
- Educational Qualification:
- Postgraduate Degree in Basic Sciences (Physical Science/Mathematical Science/Chemical Science/Life Science)
OR - Graduate/Postgraduate Degree in Professional Courses (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Energy Studies, Power Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields).
- Postgraduate Degree in Basic Sciences (Physical Science/Mathematical Science/Chemical Science/Life Science)
- Selection Criteria:
Candidates must be selected through one of the following:- National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET including lectureship/Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies (e.g., DST, DBT, DAE, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IISc, IISER, etc.).
- For Non-GATE Candidates:
- Graduate/Postgraduate Degree in Professional Courses without GATE will receive Rs. 18,600 + 16% HRA.
- Desirable Qualification:
Candidates should have a strong interest in interdisciplinary and applied research.
Selection Procedure
- Online Interview:
- Date: 16th January 2025 (Thursday)
- Time: 10:00 AM
- Platform: MS Teams (link will be shared with shortlisted candidates).
- Shortlisting:
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email on 13th January 2025.
- Selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the interview and relevant experience.
