Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the position of Principal, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade under the grading system) from a recognized university. (Relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/Differently Abled candidates is applicable as per norms).
- A Ph.D. Degree in the relevant field.
Experience:
- Teaching/Research/Administrative Experience:
- Must be a Professor/Associate Professor with a total service experience of at least 15 years in Universities, Colleges, or other institutions of Higher Education.
Research Credentials:
- A minimum of 10 research publications in Peer-Reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- A minimum research score of 110 as per UGC Regulation 2018 (Appendix-II, Table-2).
Performance Metrics:
- A minimum score as per the Academic Performance Indicator (API), based on performance-based appraisal systems (PBAS), as stipulated in UGC regulations.
Age Limit:
- The upper age limit is 55 years.
