Assam University Silchar invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Research Assistant in an Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) funded research project titled “Empowering Women Through Skill Development and Communication Strategic: Milestone for Atmanirbhar Bharat.” If you have a background in social sciences, this is an opportunity to contribute to women’s empowerment. We are currently looking for a qualified Research Assistant.

Number of Posts: 1
Eligibility Criteria:
- Full-time Post Graduation/M.Phil/Ph.D. in any Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Familiarity with statistical software and other quantitative methods.
- Candidates with sound knowledge and experience in the project’s thrust area will be given preference.
Stipend: Rs. 16,000/- per month
Selection Procedure: A walk-in-interview will be conducted on 12th September 2023 at the Director cum Dean’s Office, Centre for Media Dynamics, ANTSCACS, Department of Mass Communication, Assam University, Silchar – 788011.
