All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Guwahati Assam seeks applications from eligible candidates for the contractual positions of Coordinator and Field Data Collector for the project titled “National Mental Health Survey in India 2” funded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, and coordinated by NIMHANS, Bangalore. The survey will be conducted in selected districts of Assam under the supervision of Dr. Forhad Akhtar Zaman and Dr. Ramdas Ransing.
Position 1: NMHS Survey Coordinator
- Number of Posts: 1
Essential Qualification:
- Master of Public Health / Psychology / Social Work / Sociology / Rural Development or related areas OR MSc (Mental Health Nursing or equivalent)
Desirable Experience:
- One year of experience in conducting field surveys related to mental health
- Experience in projects/programs at the state level
- Ability to liaise with multiple organizations at State/National Level
- Skills in planning and conducting research/survey related training programs
- Fluency in local language and multiple dialects
- Experience in health-related field-based data collection and survey coordination
Position 2: NMHS Survey Field Data Collector
- Number of Posts: 7
Essential Qualification:
- Masters in Psychology / Social Work / Sociology / Rural Development or related areas
- OR BSc Nursing with 2 years of experience (hospital or community-based)
Desirable:
- Experience in projects/programs at the state level
- Ability to liaison with different and multiple organizations at State/National Level
- Fluency in local language and multiple dialects
- Experience in health-related field-based data collection
