Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in any branch of Engineering, Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized university or institution in India or abroad. The degree must be obtained with a minimum of 2nd class honours (Major) in any specific subject or distinction in the degree course.
Experience
Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience in a responsible and senior position in a Government Department/Government undertaking. The experience must be at a rank not below:
- Assistant Manager (AM)
- Superintendent of Industries (SI)
- Assistant Industries Officer (AIO)
- Or its equivalent post
Age Limit (as of 01-01-2025)
- Minimum Age: 25 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
- Relaxations:
- SC/ST: Up to 45 years
- OBC/MOBC: Up to 43 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Up to 50 years (UR), further relaxation of 3 years for OBC/MOBC and 5 years for SC/ST
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): Up to 50 years, irrespective of category
