Assam University Diphu is pleased to announce an opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for the position of Guest Faculty in the Department of Commerce on a purely temporary basis. This role offers an exciting chance to contribute to the academic community of Assam University.

Remuneration: ₹1,500 per lecture with a ceiling of ₹50,000 per month
Eligibility Criteria:
Essential (A or B):
A.
i) A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a relevant or allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
ii) The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, such as SLET/SET. Alternatively, candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments are exempt from NET/SLET/SET.

The Ph.D. degree has been obtained from a foreign university/institution ranked among the top 500 in the World University Rankings at any time, as recognized by any of the following:
(i) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS)
(ii) Times Higher Education (THE)
(iii) Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai)
Selection Procedure:
Eligible candidates are invited to attend a walk-in interview scheduled for 27/08/2024 at 11:00 AM. The interview will be held at the R.B Conference Hall, Semson Sing Ingti Administrative Building, Assam University, Diphu Campus.

ii) প্ৰাৰ্থীটোৱে UGCৰ দ্বাৰা অনুষ্ঠিত ন্যাশনেল এলিজিবিলিটি টেষ্ট (NET) অথবা CSR আৰু UGC দ্বাৰা স্বীকৃত সমান টেষ্ট, যেনে SLET/SET উত্তীর্ণ কৰা হ’ব লাগিব। বিকল্প হিচাপে, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় গ্ৰান্টছ কমিশন (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 অথবা 2016 আৰু তাৰ সংশোধন অনুসৰি Ph.D. ডিগ্ৰী লাভ কৰা প্ৰাৰ্থীসকল NET/SLET/SETৰ পৰা মুক্ত।
