Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must meet either A or B:
A.
- A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
- Must have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or an equivalent test like SLET/SET. Candidates awarded a Ph.D. degree as per UGC regulations (2009/2016) are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
OR
B. Candidates holding a Ph.D. degree from a foreign university/institution ranked among the top 500 in the World University Ranking by QS, THE, or ARWU (Shanghai Jiao Tong University).
Selection Procedure:
- Candidates must attend a walk-in interview scheduled for 25-02-2025 at 11:00 AM.
- Venue: Office of the Head, Department of Earth Science, Assam University, Silchar.
