Assam Career : Central Institute of Technology (CIT) Kokrajhar, Assam, is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a SERB research project entitled “Design and Fabrication of Photovoltaic/Thermal Hybrid Solar Tunnel Dryer for Value Addition to Underutilized Agro Produce of NER-India.”

CIT Kokrajhar is located in the Kokrajhar District of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), Assam. The institute was established to cater to the educational and technological aspirations of the Bodo people, enhance their cultural identity, and provide vocational training. It is a Centrally Funded Institute under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, and has been operational since December 19, 2006.

Essential Qualification

• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MS/M.Sc in Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation /Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Food Engineering & Technology/ Chemical Engineering/ Agriculture Engineering/ Renewable Energy Engineering / Energy Technology or any other allied areas from a recognized Institute/University.
• Must have obtained First Division or equivalent.
• GATE/NET qualified.

Desirable

• Good knowledge in project design and implementation.

Emoluments

• Rs. 31,000/- + HRA per month (Revised salary of Rs. 37,000/- subject to the sanction of funds from SERB-DST).
