Position: GIS Analyst

Qualification:

  • Minimum Qualification: Candidates must hold an M.Tech /M.Sc. in GIS & Remote Sensing/ Geoinformatics; M.A/ M.Sc. in Geography/Geology/ Environmental Science with Geoinformatics as one of the subjects or possess a Certificate or Diploma in GIS/ Remote Sensing or Geoinformatics.
  • Desirable Qualification: A Ph.D. in GIS & Remote Sensing/ Geoinformatics/ Geography/ Geology/ Geophysics/ Earth and Atmospheric Sciences with specialization in GIS & Remote Sensing is highly desirable.

Remuneration: Successful candidates can expect a monthly remuneration ranging from Rs. 50,000.00 to Rs. 60,000.00, depending on their experience. Additionally, a communication expense of Rs. 1000/- will be provided.

Age Limit: Applicants should be above 22 years and not more than 40 years old as of August 1, 2023. Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved category candidates in accordance with the Government policy.

Selection Procedure: A walk-in-interview will be conducted on 20th September 2023, starting from 10:30 AM onwards. The venue for the interview is the Office of the Director of Land Records & Surveys, Rupnagar, Guwahati-32, Assam.
