Cultural Development Officer – Pioneering Your Assam Career
Position: Cultural Development Officer Number of Posts: 28 Pay Scale: Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 60,500/- + Grade Pay Rs. 8,700/-
Educational Qualification: Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
(a)
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a Government-recognized university
- Diploma from a Government-recognized institute in Dance, Drama, Film Editing, Motion Picture Photography, Acting, or Sound Engineering.
(b)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Music (Vocal/Instrumental/Sattriya) from any Government Music College or Government-recognized institute.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from any Government College of Art & Craft or Government-recognized institute.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural Studies from any recognized university or Government-recognized institute.
Preferable Qualification:
- Adequate knowledge of Assam’s Cultural Heritage.
- Candidates with National/State Level performance certificates may be given preference.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years (as on 01/01/2023)
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST candidates: Up to 45 years (5 years relaxation)
- OBC/MOBC candidates: Up to 43 years (3 years relaxation)
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): Up to 50 years (10 years relaxation)
