Gauhati University, one of the premier institutions of higher education in Northeast India, is seeking applications from eligible candidates for the temporary position of Field Investigator for ICCSR Minor Research Project on “Participation and Representation of Women in Local Governance”. This study focuses on Urban Local Bodies in Kamrup (Metro), Cachar, Nagaon, and Dibrugarh Districts of Assam. The appointment will be for approximately two months on a purely temporary basis.

- PG (with 55% marks) in Social Science
Desirable Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Assamese and Bengali
- Experience in data collection, especially through interview methods
- Knowledge of data entry and transcription
Salary: As per ICSSR norms, Rs. 20,000/- per month
