Project Title: BigBayes ML Laboratory
Duration: Temporary basis
Location: Interdisciplinary Statistical Research Unit, ISI Assam
Essential Qualifications: Candidates must have either of the following qualifications:
(i) B.Tech./M.Sc./M.C.A. in Computer Science/Electronics and Communication Engineering (or equivalent) with robust programming experience in R/MATLAB/Python, and at least one full course in Statistics/Probability at the undergraduate level.
OR
(ii) M.Sc. in Statistics with a strong proficiency in programming with R/MATLAB/Python.
Desirable Qualifications: Background knowledge in Machine Learning and Bayesian statistical inference is preferred.
Salary: Rs. 30,000/- per month
Age Limit: Candidates should not exceed 35 years as of May 1, 2024, with usual relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/differently-abled candidates. Age may be relaxed for exceptionally bright candidates with relevant experience.
