Qualifications:
- For Position 1: Candidates should have a Master’s degree in any branch of Life Sciences with a good academic record throughout their career. They should also hold a Ph.D. degree and have a minimum of three (03) first-author research publications from their Ph.D. work in peer-reviewed journals.
- For Position 2: Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Chemistry with a good academic record throughout their career. They should also hold a Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry/synthetic chemistry and have at least three (03) first-author research publications from their Ph.D. work in peer-reviewed journals.
Experience:
- For Position 1: Candidates should have a minimum of four (04) years of post-doctoral experience in Research and Development in Industrial or Academic Institutions, with a focus on Sericulture.
- For Position 2: Candidates should have a minimum of four (04) years of post-doctoral experience in Research and Development in Industrial or Academic Institutions, with a focus on synthetic organic chemistry, particularly related to the synthesis of small molecular inhibitors/drugs.
Emoluments: The selected candidates will receive a salary ranging from Rs. 67,000 to Rs. 78,000 per month (depending on experience), along with applicable House Rent Allowance (HRA) at Guwahati. They will also be entitled to medical benefits and leave as per the IASST policy. However, they will not receive bonuses, gratuity, or leave travel concessions.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for applicants is 45 years.
