Power Grid Corporation of India (POWERGRID), a ‘Maharatna’ Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, is inviting applications for recruitment to the position of Officer Trainee. POWERGRID is a premier power transmission company with a vast network and significant infrastructure, including approximately 1,77,790 km of transmission lines and 278 substations. With a major role in India’s power transmission sector, the company also operates an extensive telecom network across the country.

Positions Available:

1. Officer Trainee (Finance)
   • No. of Posts: 39
   • Essential Qualification: CA / ICWA (CMA) Pass
2. Officer Trainee (Company Secretary)
   • No. of Posts: 4
   • Essential Qualification: Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India

Upper Age Limit:

• 28 years as of 07.08.2024

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:

• OBC (NCL) candidates: 3 years (Subject to reservation of post)
• SC/ST candidates: 5 years (Subject to reservation of post)
• PwBD candidates: 10 years over and above category relaxation
• Ex-Servicemen/DESM/Victims of riots: As per Government of India directives
