Tezpur University Assam is offering an exciting career opportunity for eligible candidates to join as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DST-SERB sponsored research project titled, “Development and evaluation of amylose sensor for assessing ageing of millets.” This project, under the guidance of Dr. Nickhil C., Assistant Professor at the Department of Food Engineering and Technology, presents a unique chance to contribute to cutting-edge research in the field.

Essential Qualification:
- First-class M.Tech./M.Sc. or equivalent CGPA in Food Engineering/Food Science and Technology/Food Processing/Food Technology with a 4-year bachelor’s degree, along with NET/GATE or similar qualifications as per SERB guidelines.
- Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in sensor development, grain storage, and analytical chemistry.
Fellowship:
- Rs. 37,000/- (Rupees thirty-seven thousand) only per month + HRA as admissible.
Age Limit:
- Candidates should not exceed 28 years on the last date of receipt of application.
- Upper age limit relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules.
