Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualifications:
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale) from a recognized university.
- Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline with evidence of published research work.
- Experience:
- Must be a Professor/Associate Professor with a minimum of 15 years of teaching/research experience in universities, colleges, or other institutions of higher education.
- Research Requirements:
- At least 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- A minimum research score of 110 as per UGC guidelines (Appendix-II, Table-2, UGC guidelines dated 18-07-2018).
- Performance-Based Criteria:
- Must meet the Academic Performance Indicator (API) score based on the Performance-Based Appraisal System (PBAS) for direct recruitment of professors in colleges.
- Relaxations:
- SC/ST/Differently Abled candidates: Relaxation of 5% marks at the Graduate and Master’s level.
- Ph.D. holders (before 19th September 1991): Relaxation of 5% marks in Master’s degree.
- Age Limit:
- Upper age limit: 55 years as per prescribed rules.
