The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, Assam, is seeking applications for technical positions in its Research & Development Section. Here are the details:

1. System Engineer Grade I (Project Mode)

  • Number of Posts: 1
  • Pay Scale: Rs. 31,000-42,000 + 18% HRA
  • Qualification:
    • B.E/B. Tech with 1st class in CS/IT or MCA
    • Minimum three years’ experience in software development using Java (Spring framework)
    • Knowledge of SQL, MariaDB, HTML, CSS, PHP, JSP, working experience in Unix OS, basic networking, basic Server Administration in similar organizations such as IITs, NITs, etc.

2. System Engineer (Project Mode)

  • Number of Posts: 1
  • Pay Scale: Rs. 28,500 – 42,000 + 18% HRA
  • Qualification:
    • B.E/B. Tech with 1st class in CS/IT or MCA
    • Minimum two years’ experience in software development using Java (Spring), HTML, PHP, JSP, JAVASCRIPT, SQL
    • Knowledge of MariaDB, basic networking, working experience in Unix OS
    • In-hand experience of handling software/software development for premier educational institutes is preferred
