The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in Assam is looking for candidates to fill various accounting positions on a contract basis. Here are the details:
1. Senior Accounts Assistant
- Number of Posts: 2
- Consolidated Salary: Rs. 35,000 per month
- Age Limit: Preferably below 45 years
- Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com.) or allied disciplines with 6 years of work experience in the accounting field OR
- Master’s Degree in Commerce (M.Com.) or allied disciplines with 3 years of work experience in the accounting field
- Candidates should have good knowledge of accounts and experience in working in an ERP environment is desirable.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel is required.
2. Accounts Assistant
- Number of Posts: 3
- Consolidated Salary: Rs. 25,000 per month
- Age Limit: Preferably below 45 years
- Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com.) or allied disciplines with 2 years of work experience in the accounting field OR
- Master’s Degree in Commerce (M.Com.) or allied disciplines
- Candidates should have good knowledge of accounts, and experience in working in an ERP environment is desirable.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel is required.

Application Fee:
- Candidates need to pay an Application Fee of Rs. 500/- online.
- The application fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates will be Rs. 250/-, if they upload the required Certificate in the Online Application Form.
- Women applicants do not need to pay the application fee.
- The application will be valid only on receipt of the application fee for those who are required to pay. The fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
