Recruitment Notice: Project Associate-I at Tezpur University Assam
Tezpur University Assam is seeking applications for the position of Project Associate-I in the DBT sponsored research project titled “Bioinformatics and computational Biology Centre for Microbial Biodiversity in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh” under the supervision of Prof. Suvendra Kumar Ray, Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.

Qualification:
- Master’s degree in engineering/science disciplines with specialization in Computational Biology/Bioinformatics/Biosciences/Molecular Biology & Biotechnology/related subject with NET/GATE or equivalent qualification.
Desirable Experience:
- PhD degree with experience in computational analysis of genome sequences or similar research.
Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- per month + 8% HRA
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years on the date of the interview. Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India Rules.
Selection Procedure:
A Walk-in-Interview will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on 11/03/2024 in the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University, Assam.

Interested candidates should attend the interview board with original and self-attested photocopies of relevant documents, including mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, NET/GATE or similar examination qualifications, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate, and any other testimonials. Applicants must also submit the application in the prescribed format (Annexure-I) along with a copy of the recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV).
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview. Candidates currently employed or pursuing a Ph.D. must submit a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their employer/Ph.D. Supervisor.
