Essential Qualifications

1. Educational Qualification:
   • Postgraduate Degree in Basic Sciences (Physical Science/Mathematical Science/Chemical Science/Life Science)
     OR
   • Graduate/Postgraduate Degree in Professional Courses (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Energy Studies, Power Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields).
2. Selection Criteria:
   Candidates must be selected through one of the following:
   • National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET including lectureship/Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
   • National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies (e.g., DST, DBT, DAE, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IISc, IISER, etc.).
3. For Non-GATE Candidates:
   • Graduate/Postgraduate Degree in Professional Courses without GATE will receive Rs. 18,600 + 16% HRA.
4. Desirable Qualification:
   Candidates should have a strong interest in interdisciplinary and applied research.

Selection Procedure

1. Online Interview:
   • Date: 16th January 2025 (Thursday)
   • Time: 10:00 AM
   • Platform: MS Teams (link will be shared with shortlisted candidates).
2. Shortlisting:
   • Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email on 13th January 2025.
   • Selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the interview and relevant experience.
