Assam University Silchar welcomes applications from qualified candidates for recruitment to the position of Project Associate under a sponsored research project by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, in collaboration with the Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) scheme of IIT Bhilai Innovation and Technology Foundation (IBITF). The project titled “Development of an Intelligent System for Weather Forecasting, Smart Farming, and Information Dissemination for the Scheduled Tribe Community of Barak River Basin using Satellite Image Processing, ML, and IoT” offers selected candidates the opportunity to enroll in the PhD program, subject to fulfillment of requirements.

Qualifications:
- M.E./M.Tech (IT/CS/Data Science/AI/ML)
Monthly Emoluments:
- Rs. 31,000 + HRA (with GATE/NET)
- Rs. 25,000 + HRA (without GATE/NET)
Selection Procedure:
A walk-in-interview is scheduled for 6th June 2024, starting from 11:30 am at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Assam University, Silchar, Assam, Pin: 788011. Reporting time for the interview is 9:30 am.
