Assam Career : Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Assam is extending an invitation to eligible candidates for the recruitment of Physiotherapist on a contractual basis. CRPF is a crucial internal security and combat force in India, operating under the Government of India. As one of the Central Armed Police Forces, CRPF plays a pivotal role in assisting State Territories in maintaining law and order, as well as counter-insurgency operations. Established on July 27, 1939, as the Crown Representative’s Police, it evolved into the Central Reserve Police Force post-Independence with the enactment of the CRPF Act on December 28, 1949. Apart from its core duties in law enforcement and counter-insurgency, CRPF has also been actively involved in facilitating India’s democratic process, particularly during elections.
