GAIL Assam is seeking applications from qualified candidates for various administrative positions. We are hiring for the following posts: Senior Superintendent, Senior Accountant, Senior Chemist, and Foreman. Detailed information about each position is outlined below.

1. Senior Superintendent (Hindi)
- No. of Posts: 1
Essential Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration in Hindi Literature/Hindi with at least 50% marks.
- English should be one of the subjects in Graduation.
- The degree certificate must clearly state “Bachelor Degree in Hindi Literature/Hindi.”
- Basic knowledge and skills in computer applications (MS Office, etc.) in an office environment.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in English to Hindi translation and vice-versa of various reports, documents, letters, etc., in State/Central Government Departments/Institutions/Undertakings and/or large private sector organizations of repute.
2. Senior Accountant
- No. of Posts: 2
Essential Qualification:
- Intermediate or equivalent in CA/ICWA (CMA), or
- Master’s Degree in Commerce (M.Com.) of minimum 2 years duration with at least 55% marks.
- Proficiency in personal computer operations and basic knowledge & skills in computer applications (MS Office, etc.).
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts functions in State/Central Government Departments/Organizations/Undertakings and/or large private sector organizations of repute.
3. Senior Superintendent (HR)
- No. of Posts: 1
Essential Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration with at least 50% marks.
- Diploma in Personnel Management/Industrial Relations with at least 50% marks.
- Proficiency in personal computer operations and basic knowledge & skills in computer applications (MS Office, etc.).
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in various HR functions in State/Central Government Departments/Organizations/Undertakings and/or large private sector organizations of repute.
4. Senior Chemist
- No. of Posts: 1
Essential Qualification:
- Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry of minimum 2 years duration with at least 50% marks.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in Quality Control Laboratory in State/Central Government Departments/Institutions/Undertakings and/or large private sector organizations of repute.
5. Foreman (Electrical)
- No. of Posts: 1
Essential Qualification:
- Diploma in Engineering in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics with at least 55% marks.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in Electrical discipline in State/Central Government Departments/Institutions/Undertakings and/or large private sector organizations of repute.
6. Foreman (Instrumentation)
- No. of Posts: 1
Essential Qualification:
- Diploma in Engineering in Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Control/Electronics & Instrumentation/Electrical & Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical & Electronics with at least 55% marks.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in Instrumentation discipline in State/Central Government Departments/Institutions/Undertakings and/or large private sector organizations of repute.
7. Foreman (Mechanical)
- No. of Posts: 2
Essential Qualification:
- Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical/Production/Production & Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical & Automobile with at least 55% marks.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in Mechanical discipline in State/Central Government Departments/Institutions/Undertakings and/or large private sector organizations of repute.
