Assam Career: The Indian Council of Agricultural Research – National Research Centre on Pig (ICAR NRCP), Guwahati, Assam, is currently accepting applications for four vacant positions of Senior Research Fellow under the project titled “Establishment of STI Hub for Mising and Bodo women of Assam for economic empowerment through technology interventions in the pig value chain (DST- STI Hub).” Here are the details:

Number of Posts: 4

Qualification:

• Candidates should hold a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences/Veterinary Sciences/Animal Sciences/Life Science/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Chemistry/Physics/Zoology with a 4-year or 5-year Bachelor’s degree.

OR

• Candidates with a postgraduate degree in Social Sciences/Life Science/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Chemistry/Physics/Zoology with a 3-year Bachelor’s degree and a 2-year Master’s degree must have qualified in NET/GATE or an equivalent national level examination conducted by the Central Government/agencies.

Emoluments:

• For the 1st and 2nd year: Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA
• For the 3rd year: Rs. 35,000/- per month + HRA

Age Limit:

• The maximum age limit is 35 years for men and 40 years for women. Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules of the Government of India.

Selection Procedure:

• The selection process involves a walk-in-interview.
• Date: 12th July 2023
• Time: 10:30 AM onwards
• Venue: Committee Room, ICAR-National Research Centre on Pig, Rani, Guwahati
