The Indian Council of Agricultural Research – National Research Centre on Pig (ICAR NRCP) Guwahati, Assam, is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of a Young Professional-II (YP-II) purely on a contract basis in the NAIF Project at the ITMU Section. Established following the recommendation of a mid-term appraisal committee by ICAR in 1990, the NRC on Pig is located in Rani, Guwahati, Assam. This initiative was part of a broader strategy to focus on pig research in the North Eastern region of India, which houses 28% of the country’s pig population.

Qualifications:
- Essential: Master’s degree in any branch of Life Science or Veterinary Science (M.Sc./M.V.Sc) from a recognized university or college.
- Desirable: Experience and expertise in intellectual property rights (IPR) related matters.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years (Age relaxation as per ICAR/GoI guidelines).
Emoluments: Consolidated remuneration of ₹42,000 per month.
