Assam Career :The Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) in Assam is inviting applications for the position of Project Associate-I. This is a temporary and short-term contract-based role for a project located at Kaziranga National Park, Assam, which is coordinated by Tezpur University.

Position Details:
- Name of Post: Project Associate-I
- Number of Posts: 1
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc in Atmospheric Sciences/Mathematics/Physics/Environmental Sciences from a recognized University or equivalent
- Desirable Qualification:
- Working knowledge of handling and maintaining observational instruments, telecommunication, computer, software, technical skills, etc.
- Fieldwork experience in handling data transmission and data management.
Emoluments: Candidates selected for the position will receive one of the following:
- Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA
- Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA
Age Limit: Applicants should be up to 35 years old as of 31st July 2023. Age relaxation is applicable as follows:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Physically handicapped: 10 years
- Ex-servicemen: As per rules
Selection Procedure: A walk-in-interview will be conducted on 31st July 2023, starting from 10:00 AM onwards at the Department of Environmental Science, Tezpur University, Assam.
