Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati Assam is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the position of Associate Project Engineer at the GATE-JAM office. This appointment will be on a contract basis for one year, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and the office’s requirements. Established in 1994, IIT Guwahati has grown to encompass eleven departments, seven interdisciplinary academic centers, and five schools, offering comprehensive education in engineering, sciences, healthcare, management, and humanities disciplines.

Educational Qualifications:
- Master of Computer Applications (MCA) with minimum 60% aggregate marks, or 7.0 CGPA
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of work experience
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in web-designing using CMS tools like WordPress/Joomla
- Familiarity with website maintenance tools in Linux operating system
- Experience with JavaScript, PHP, and AJAX scripting
- Proficiency in office document processing tools
- Experience with online examination processes like JEE, GATE, JAM, KVPY, etc.
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written, and ability to multitask
