National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar Assam is seeking applications from eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a DST-SERB (SRG) sponsored project titled “Design and development of a microreactor for production of clean hydrogen gas” within the Department of Mechanical Engineering. NIT Silchar, one of the esteemed 31 National Institutes of Technology in India, has a rich history, having evolved from a Regional Engineering College in Assam to its current status as an Institute of National Importance under the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007. Essential Qualification:
- M.E./M. Tech or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering (Renewable Energy/Thermal Engineering stream) with first-class marks in both B.E./B. Tech. & M.E./M. Tech, along with a valid GATE/NET score.
Desirable Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Renewable Energy/Thermal Engineering with relevant expertise in Computational Fluid Dynamics, Python programming, Experimental Microfluidics, and Renewable Energy is preferred.
Salary: Rs. 31,000/- per month
Age Limit: 28 Years (as of the closing date of application, i.e., 18th April 2024)
