Oil India Limited (OIL), one of the premier national oil and gas companies, has announced an employment notification for the recruitment of 40 contractual posts for immediate engagement at its Field Headquarters, Duliajan. The vacancies include positions for Contractual Electricians, Contractual Mechanics (AC&R), and Contractual Associate Engineers (Electrical). These roles are purely on a contractual basis.

1. Contractual Electrician

• Number of Posts: 18
• Educational Qualification:
  • Passed 10th from a Government-recognized Board/University.
  • Completed ITI Electrician (2 years) from a government-recognized Board/University.
  • Must possess Electrical Permit for Workmen Part I & II.
• Age Limit:
  • Minimum Age: 20 years
  • Maximum Age: 35 years

2. Contractual Mechanic (AC&R)

• Number of Posts: 2
• Educational Qualification:
  • Passed 10th from a Government-recognized Board/University.
  • Completed ITI AC&R Mechanic (2 years) from a government-recognized Board/University.
• Age Limit:
  • Minimum Age: 20 years
  • Maximum Age: 35 years

3. Contractual Associate Engineer (Electrical)

• Number of Posts: 20
• Educational Qualification:
  • Passed Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a government-recognized Board/University.
  • Must possess an Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency (Part I, II, III & IV).
• Age Limit:
  • Minimum Age: 20 years
  • Maximum Age: 35 years

Age Relaxation Criteria:

For all the posts mentioned above, candidates belonging to the following categories are eligible for age relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years

1. Fill the Personal Bio-Data form (available on the last two pages of the advertisement) and bring it along with the following documents to the Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment:
   • 01 (One) recent 3cm X 3cm coloured photograph.
   • Original and self-attested photocopies of the following documents/certificates/testimonials:
     • Valid Identity Proof and valid Address Proof issued by a competent Government authority.
     • Admit Card, Marksheet, and Pass Certificate of Class 10 from a Government-recognized Board.
     • Document(s)/Certificate(s)/Testimonial(s) of essential qualifications.
     • Relevant work experience certificate (if applicable).
     • Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC) from a competent authority (if applicable).
     • Non-Creamy Layer Certificate from a competent authority (if applicable).
     • Income and Asset Certificate for Economically Weaker Sections (if applicable).
     • Disability Certificate from a competent authority (if applicable).
     • Discharge Book/Service and Release Certificate for Ex-Servicemen (if applicable).
     • Any other documents as required in support of the application.
   • No-Objection Certificate from the current employer (in original) if the applicant is currently working in an organization.

Walk-in Schedule:

Candidates must attend the Walk-in-Practical/Skill Test cum Personal Assessment on the following dates and times:

• Contractual Electrician: 21/10/2024
• Contractual Mechanic (AC&R): 23/10/2024
• Contractual Associate Engineer (Electrical): 25/10/2024
